This notice explains what personal information Designor Studio ("we", "us") collects when you contact us, including when you fill in a form on a Facebook or Instagram advertisement or on our website, what we use it for, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

When you submit an enquiry form, we collect what you type into it:

• your name, phone number and email address;
• the area in Bengaluru where your property is;
• your property type (for example apartment or villa);
• when you expect to get possession;
• when you expect to start your interiors;
• your approximate interiors budget.

If you take our free consultation and later become a customer, we will also collect the information needed to design, quote and deliver your project (for example site details and measurements). That is covered by our agreement with you, not just this notice.

When you fill in a form on Facebook or Instagram, the form is provided by Meta (Facebook / Instagram). Meta collects and processes information under its own privacy policy. We receive the answers you submitted, together with technical details about which advertisement the enquiry came from.

2. Why we use it

We use your information to:

• contact you about your enquiry, by phone, WhatsApp or email;
• book and carry out your free consultation;
• understand whether and how we can help (for example your location, timeline and budget);
• prepare a design, quotation or proposal you ask for;
• understand which of our advertisements and messages lead to enquiries, so that we can improve them. For this we look at combined results, not at individuals.

We do not use your information for anything unrelated to this without asking you first.

3. Our basis for using it

We collect and use your information because you gave it to us by submitting the form and asked us to contact you. By submitting the form you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry. You can withdraw that agreement at any time (see section 7).

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information.

We share it only with people and services that help us respond to you, and only as needed:

• Meta, which provides the advertising and form platform;
• WhatsApp Business (provided by Meta), which we use to message you;
• Gmail (provided by Google), which we use to email you;
• Google Sheets (provided by Google), where we keep a record of your enquiry;
• contractors, designers and vendors who need your details to carry out your project, only after you become a customer;
• authorities or courts, if the law requires us to.

Meta and Google are third parties and handle information under their own privacy policies. They may store or process it on servers in India or in other countries.

5. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a customer, in which case we keep project records for as long as needed for the project, warranty and legal or tax purposes. After that we delete or anonymise them.

6. How we protect it

We use reasonable security measures to protect your information, such as limiting access to the people who need it, using password-protected accounts and devices, and screen locks on the phones and computers we use. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach that affects your information, we will act as the law requires.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information of yours we hold and how we use it;
• correct information that is wrong or out of date;
• delete your information;
• stop contacting you, or withdraw your agreement to be contacted.

8. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handled your information, contact our grievance contact first:

We will respond within 30 days. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), you have the right to readily available grievance redressal, and you should first give us the opportunity to resolve your grievance. If you are still not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act.

9. Children

Our services are for adults who own or are buying property. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top and post the revised notice on this page.
